SACE Merit Ceremony 2026

On Wednesday 11th February, students from our Symphony Orchestra were selected to perform at the annual SACE Merit Ceremony at Government House, welcoming guests to the event with their performance skills. Students displayed a range of musical works over two thirty-minute sets after only a few rehearsals at the start of the year, performing admirably despite the hot and windy conditions. Our brass students also combined as a massed brass ensemble with students from the four Special Interest Music Centres to perform the Vice Regal on the entrance of the Governor and starting the official ceremony. Students displayed a high level of professionalism and were subsequently complemented highly by her excellency for their hard work.
