Ensembles

Choral and instrumental ensembles are at the core of music-making at Brighton Secondary School. Each student who studies Core Music participates in two ensemble lessons per week in band, strings, or percussion, and one lesson per week in choir. For further details of Core Music please see our Curriculum page.

In addition, the school provides a wide variety of experiences across twenty-four co-curricular ensembles including orchestras, concert bands, big bands, performance choirs, percussion ensembles, small ensembles, and chamber groups. All co-curricular ensembles perform at our annual 'Music Spectacular' concert series which is held on site in the beautiful Brighton Concert Hall.
